During IAP 2023, I participated in MISTI's Global Teaching Lab (GTL) program in Ancona, Italy. For three weeks, I taught students math and physics at the local high school Liceo Scientifico Galileo Galilei. I lectured on various different topics across 10th-12th grade, ranging from Conic Sections to Electromagnetism. I wrote my own lecture slides, performed lab demos, and created practices tests for my students. I did a lot of tutoring before, but this was my first time teaching full session classes, and I think both me and my students had a lot of fun!
(Of course, many thanks to my host family and Prof. Laura Polenta for this amazing experience!)
